Sylvie Gros , very fond of classic and contemporary art, has acquired a new look on the tapestry world. After having created jewellery collections for great jewellers, she evolves to design packaging. Then, in 1995, she took over CLARISSE SHOP created in 1969 by her mother.There, she settles her painting studio. CLARISSE has already a wide clientele with a keen interest in tapestry.
She brings it her owns creations in accordance to its client demands. An osmosis is established between them. She adapts herself to its clients desires and with a global agreement, after showing sketches, a final drawing is done. All canvases are handpainted and not transferred.
With her passionate disposition, she chooses wool colours with attention and meticulousness. She will advise you to match colours with your interior.

In her studio, Sylvie Gros imagines and handpaints directly on canvas. A lot of themes such as nature ( flowers, leaves, fruits, trees etc…),animals, coat of arms, rubans, Etc….Are destined to cushions, footstolls, chair, armchair, hanging tapestry, plaids, rug and others, of course in the style you want : Renaissance, Louis XIII, Louis XIV , Regency, Louis XV, Louis XVI, Directoire, Empire, Napoléon III …….and contemporary.
